Closer...Closer...

Hello again, friend,

This is how my mornings have been going...

I wish you were already reading Infinity Agents #3, but at least I can say we're closer. As I mentioned before, the sale of my house and the resulting move knocked me off schedule, but I hired the multi-talented Dave Lentz to jump in and take over prepress for the two comics that are ready to be fullfilled. Thanks to his efforts the digital edition will be sent very soon!

Hopefully the physical rewards won't have further delays. I'm paranoid because of all the supply chain issues that are already crippling many industries and threatening holiday fulfillment, along with the various material shortages that the printing industry is facing. For example, in a recent letter to retailers, Image Comics shared a dramatic announcement:

"As many of you are now undoubtedly aware, the current shipping delays, supply chain crunch, and paper shortages are creating nationwide issues across many industries -- and that impacts our industry too. I'm sure every publisher will have a different response to this crisis, but at Image we're proactively streamlining our releases ro reflect these circumstances. STARTING NOW, AND FOR THE FORSEEABLE FUTURE, THERE WILL BE NO SECOND PRINTINGS OF ANY TITLE."

Now don't get me wrong, I haven't heard anything that leads me to believe that we'll have any issues receiving our comics and other physical merchandise on time, but clearly this is something I'll be watching closely. And of course I'll keep you updated.

John
